David Ferreiro, Ph.D.

David is a Partner, Portfolio Manager & Research Analyst on TimesSquare’s U.S. Equity Team and serves as a member of the Management Committee. He shares responsibility for overseeing all U.S. Small Cap Growth and Global Small Cap strategies and is responsible for research coverage of Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining TimesSquare in 2015, David served as Vice President at GMT Capital Corporation, covering global health care stocks. His previous health care and biotechnology research analyst experiences were as an Executive Director at Oppenheimer, an Associate at JMP Securities, a Strategist at First Brokers Securities/Linkbrokers, and an Associate at Banc of America Securities.

David holds a B.A. in Biology from Middlebury College, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
