Saiba Sharmeen

Saiba is a Sustainability Manager at TimesSquare, where she leads the firm’s environmental, social, and governance integration and stewardship initiatives across U.S. and global equity strategies. In this role, she conducts company-level ESG research to support investment decision-making, oversees proxy voting operations, manages ESG-related client and regulatory reporting, and works closely with investment teams to strengthen ESG engagement and data integration across portfolios. She also plays a key role in evaluating ESG data providers and enhancing the firm’s ESG research infrastructure and internal processes. Prior to joining TimesSquare, she served as a Senior ESG Analyst at StepStone Group. In that role, she supported ESG integration across private market strategies and project-managed the development of the firm’s inaugural ESG report following its public listing. Her responsibilities included strengthening ESG disclosures, coordinating cross-functional sustainability initiatives, and supporting responsible investment practices across global investment teams.

Saiba holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Monash University in Australia and an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
