Sonu Chawla, CFA

Sonu is a Partner and Portfolio Manager & Research Analyst on TimesSquare’s U.S. Equity Team. She shares responsibility for overseeing all U.S. Mid Cap Growth strategies and for research coverage of Software & Technology Services. With two decades of experience in the investment industry, she joined TimesSquare in 2018 as a Senior Research Analyst covering the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sectors, specifically software, internet, and tech services, before being promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2022. Her career is defined by a commitment to quality growth investing, honed through prior roles as a Senior TMT Analyst at Pine River Capital Management and Surveyor Capital (Citadel), as well as an Analyst at Fred Alger Management. Before transitioning to investment management, she worked as a technology consultant at Deloitte Consulting.

Sonu holds an M.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society New York.
